Earle Humphreys - CEO

Earle has worked in the information technology industry for more than 20 years. Prior to joining ITEEx, Earle acquired vast experience within a variety of sales and general management positions, including president, executive vice president, and general manager involving technology sales forces both direct and channel. Earle Humphreys most recently was the head of Comptia’s Business Accreditation Program where he designed and built THE FIRST independent Security business technical accreditation in the industry targeted at VAR market and Security vendors channel partners.

Prior to that he was Executive Vice President of Sales & Marketing at Solutionary, Inc. Earle was responsible for expanding and retaining Solutionary's channel base which provided 50% company sales. Earle was also responsible for the largest direct sales force in the Security Managed Services Industry and directing Solutionary's marketing and business development functions. Research firm, Gartner recently named Solutionary to its visionary quadrant for (MSSPs). Managed Security Services Providers.

Prior to Solutionary, Earle was the Senior Vice President and General Manager of VeriSign's consulting services division. He was responsible for a $300 million division delivering solutions to help enterprises design, build, and manage their online presence and protect their digital communications and transactions. Under his direction VeriSign built the first channel program for the Managed services/security industry.

George Moraetes – CIO ( CGEIT, CISM )

Information Security Architect/Information Security Consultant - George Moraetes is a seasoned and well known enterprise information security executive with over 20 years of experience across multiple industries. Mr. Moraetes has served leading roles from Enterprise Technical Security Architect for Marriott to Security Architect for United States Department of Commerce and other government agencies.

Mr. Moraetes is a contributing columnist with such publications as CSO Online and Business Week and is the co-author of Corporate Bold, a book about today’s corporate professional need to focus on in order to thrive in tomorrow’s corporate structure.

Mr. Moraetes has been part of building the security industry serving in major information security initiatives with CompTIA, AIG, GE, State Farm, Motorola, IBM and leading financial institutions. Mr. Moraetes has been instrumental in developing strategic offerings and working throughout the security industry to help his clients leverage information security to meet their business goals and objectives.

William R Waas – Executive Director – ITEEx.org

Prior to starting ITEEx, Mr. Waas was executive vice president of ValCom. ValCom is a $135 million systems integrator. He was responsible for operations and marketing.

He started his career at Grumman Data Systems Corporation and held various management positions in strategic planning, finance and service management.



Mr. Waas was Senior Vice President of Service and Support at Vanstar Corporation, a $2.5 billion dollar system integrator. At Vanstar, Mr. Waas headed the $250 million service organization. He had responsibility for field service, help desk and logistics. He was instrumental in the growth of the organization from $15 million in 1990 to over $250 million in 1997.



Mr. Waas was Vice President of Value Added Services at Dell Computer Corporation. He was responsible for a $750 million dollar division of Dell, responsible for the sale and delivery of software, peripherals and system integration services.



Mr. Waas is currently on the board of Project Leadership Associates.



He is an adjunct professor at Northwestern University and a member of the Program Board for Northwestern University’s MSCIS program.



He is also active in the industry. He was a co-founder of the Service Section of CompTIA and was a member of the Board and Chairmen of the association from 1995-1997. His most recent term on the Board expired in 2001. He served on the Board for the Association for Service Management, International from 1997 –2000 and is still active in the Education Council as co-chair.



Mr. Waas hold a BBA in accounting and an MBA in finance from Hofstra University.

Nicette M. Berg - Vice President Operations

Nicette has over 25 years in manufacturing, distribution and (most importantly) VAR operations for a large print vendor –Savin. Her experience in sales support and client customer service allows ITEEx to serve its VAR and SIG members smoothly. She has run SIG group administration and member relations since 2005 handling over 30 groups and 600 members. She is the “oil” that keeps ITEEx functioning smoothly and executives on target.

They have held senior positions at major technology vendors and franchise organizations. They have run the largest Security VAR in North America. They have extensive experience in the building of national channels of distribution and the development of end user lead programs.
